MESHLE Gateway: Bluetooth Mesh to Matter Bridge
The MESHLE Gateway bridges your MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh lighting to Wi-Fi and Matter — so the same lights answer to Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa, and to your building management system over open APIs.

Control your Bluetooth Mesh lights from Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa
The MESHLE Gateway is a Matter bridge: it makes your MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh lights visible to Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa over Matter. Group them, build scenes, and switch or dim them right from the smart-home app you already use — no separate MESHLE login required at the platform.
Because the gateway is Matter-ready, your mesh slots into the wider smart-home ecosystem without locking you into one brand. Setup is quick — Wi-Fi credentials are handed over from the MESHLE App via Bluetooth — and everything keeps running on the local mesh even when the cloud is offline.

MESHLE Gateway and Matter
Is the MESHLE Gateway a Matter bridge?
Yes. The MESHLE Gateway is a Matter bridge: it exposes your MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh lights to Matter-compatible platforms. It is Matter-ready, so your mesh joins the wider smart-home ecosystem through the gateway.
Does it work with Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa?
Yes. Through Matter, the gateway makes your Bluetooth Mesh lights available in Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa — control and voice commands included, from one gateway.
Does the gateway work offline, without the cloud?
Yes. You can reach the gateway by IP on your own network instead of MESHLE Cloud, and the underlying Bluetooth Mesh runs locally regardless. All communication is encrypted, whether to the cloud in Germany or to your LAN.
Which building-management protocols does it support?
The MESHLE Gateway exposes open, gateway-level APIs for building management: REST (OpenAPI), MQTT, Modbus TCP/IP, and BACnet — for integration with most BMS and IoT platforms.
How is the MESHLE Gateway powered?
Two options: USB-C at 5 VDC, or Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) for a single cable carrying both data and power. Maximum input current is 1 A.
Can I run several gateways in one mesh?
Yes. Multiple gateways — even on different cloud accounts — can coexist in the same Bluetooth Mesh network, which suits large or multi-tenant buildings.
How do I set up Wi-Fi on the gateway?
Wi-Fi credentials are handed over from the MESHLE App over Bluetooth during setup, so no separate provisioning hardware is needed. The gateway supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
What's the difference between the gateway as a bridge and as a mesh node?
The MESHLE Gateway is a bidirectional Wi-Fi to Bluetooth Mesh bridge, and it also acts as a regular Bluetooth Mesh node — relaying mesh commands into the network and out to your LAN at the same time.
