Why flex ZERO U

Wireless retrofit for the drivers you already use

Plug-in wireless for existing drivers

flex ZERO U doesn't replace your driver — it commands it. Connect over UART, 0–10V, or DALI and turn any compatible Inventronics LED driver into a wirelessly controllable, dimmable luminaire. Up to 4 output channels, 0–100% dimming.

Offline-first Bluetooth Mesh

Built on MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh, the network runs fully on its own — no WiFi, no router, no cloud account required. Schedules and light recipes are stored on the device and keep running even when no phone is connected.

IP67 with built-in automation

Rated IP67 for outdoor and harsh environments. Set up schedules, light recipes, and individual or group control from the MESHLE web app. Add a MESHLE Gateway and you also get control over the internet or local network.

Precise Dimming at Your Fingertips

Every MESHLE device with the Dimmer Interface gives you smooth brightness control from 0 to 100% with 255-step resolution. Drag the slider for instant, flicker-free response — whether you’re dimming a single downlight or an entire room of luminaires.

Choose between linear and Gamma 2.2 dimming curves to match your LED driver’s characteristics. Linear provides uniform steps; Gamma 2.2 concentrates more steps in the lower range where the human eye is most sensitive — resulting in natural, perceptually even brightness transitions.

Wireless control for Inventronics LED drivers (UART)

Inventronics “Digital Dimming” is a single-wire UART protocol (9600 baud, two-way) built into the M-suffix variants of several Inventronics driver series. The flex ZERO U UART variant speaks this protocol directly — so the drivers you already specify gain offline wireless control over MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh, with no change to how they drive the LED load.

EUM series

Inventronics EUM-series LED drivers in the Digital-Dimming (M-suffix) variant — controlled over UART.

ESM series

Inventronics ESM-series LED drivers in the Digital-Dimming (M-suffix) variant — controlled over UART.

SUM series

Inventronics SUM-series LED drivers in the Digital-Dimming (M-suffix) variant — controlled over UART.

NCU series

Inventronics NCU — a 4-channel UART driver — controlled over Digital Dimming.

The 0–10V and DALI variants of flex ZERO U also cover Cupower and other standard 0–10V and DALI LED drivers.

Always confirm the driver's ordering-code suffix (M vs L) for Digital Dimming / UART support before specifying. Inventronics™ and Cupower are trademarks of their respective owners; flex ZERO U is a compatibility-only product with no partnership or endorsement implied.

Where flex ZERO U fits

One interface, every driver-based install

Retrofit existing Inventronics installs

Add wireless dimming, scheduling, and grouping to luminaires already built around Inventronics drivers — without swapping the driver or rewiring the load.

Outdoor facades & luminaires

IP67 rating makes flex ZERO U suited to facade lighting, outdoor fixtures, and other installations exposed to moisture and dust.

Horticulture lighting

Drive horticulture luminaires through their existing multi-channel drivers, with offline schedules and light recipes that run locally — no internet dependency in the grow room.

Industrial halls & high-bay

Bring wireless control to high-bay and industrial luminaires built on compatible LED drivers, with up to 4 channels per node and group control across the space.

Group & zone dimming

Control luminaires individually or as zones from the MESHLE web app — dim a single fixture or an entire group together, all over MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh.

Frequently asked questions

flex ZERO U and Inventronics drivers

Which Inventronics drivers work with flex ZERO U?

The UART variant works with Inventronics drivers that carry Digital Dimming — the M-suffix variants of the EUM, ESM, and SUM series, plus the NCU series (itself a 4-channel UART driver). Always confirm the driver's ordering-code suffix (M vs L) before specifying.

What is Inventronics Digital Dimming / UART?

Digital Dimming is Inventronics' single-wire UART control protocol (9600 baud, two-way) for dimming compatible drivers. The flex ZERO U UART variant speaks it directly, so MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh commands reach the driver over that one control line.

Does flex ZERO U need WiFi or the cloud?

No. flex ZERO U runs on MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh and is offline-first — no WiFi, no router, no cloud account needed. Schedules and light recipes are stored on the device and keep running on their own. A MESHLE Gateway is optional and only adds internet or local-network control.

What's the difference between the 0–10V, DALI, and UART variants?

Each flex ZERO U SKU ships with one output interface. The UART variant speaks Inventronics Digital Dimming and Cupower UART; the 0–10V and DALI variants drive standard 0–10V and DALI drivers, including Cupower and many others. Pick the variant that matches your driver's control input.

How many channels does flex ZERO U control?

Up to 4 output channels per unit, each dimmable from 0 to 100%.

Can flex ZERO U be used outdoors?

Yes. It's rated IP67, which suits outdoor luminaires, facades, and other installations exposed to moisture and dust.

Does it work with Cupower drivers?

Yes. The UART variant speaks Cupower UART, and the 0–10V and DALI variants drive Cupower 0–10V and DALI drivers along with other standard drivers on those interfaces.

How is flex ZERO U controlled?

Through the MESHLE web app over MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh — individually or in groups, with schedules and light recipes. Add a MESHLE Gateway to also control it over the internet or your local network.
