Which mode drives your LED strip

The same flex PRO 3 maps its five PWM channels to whatever tape you're running. Set the mode at install time with the Prog button — here's which mode each LED strip type needs.

RGBCCT mode

Full five-channel mixing for RGB + tunable white strip in one run. Drives premium RGBCCT LED strip where you need saturated color and warm-to-cool white from a single controller — architectural coves, feature walls, and color-changing facades.

RGBW mode

The RGBW controller setting drives RGB + dedicated white tape, so whites stay clean instead of being mixed from color channels. Ideal for an RGBW LED strip in retail, hospitality, and accent lighting that needs both vivid color and true white.

RGB mode

A three-channel RGB LED strip controller for classic color tape. Run scenes, fades, and synchronized animations across an RGB LED strip over MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh — entertainment, signage, and dynamic color washes without a separate hub.

CCT mode (tunable white)

Why is flex PRO 3 a 6-in-1 controller instead of separate RGB / CCT / RGBW SKUs?

Because OEMs shouldn't have to forecast LED-strip mix six months out. One stocked part number covers every configuration your line ships — RGBCCT, RGBW, RGB, CCT, single-color, multichannel dimmer. You commit later, scrap less, and respond to channel demand without re-ordering. The controller is identical hardware in every mode; only the channel mapping changes.

Can I change between RGB / CCT / RGBW after installation?

Yes. Hold the Prog button to factory-reset and re-select the mode — RGBCCT, RGBW, RGB, CCT, single-color, or multichannel dimmer. No firmware reflash, no laptop, no programmer. The same controller runs any of the six modes as needed.

Do I need a hub or gateway?

No — not for local control. The MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh runs end-to-end on the devices themselves. The MESHLE Gateway M602 is optional, used when you need Matter, Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, REST API, MQTT, BACnet™, or Modbus integration.

Can I get my logo on the controller housing?

Yes. flex PRO 3 supports custom laser-printed branding on the housing — your logo, brand name, or part marking — at MOQ 500 pcs per design. Talk to engineering for artwork specifications and lead times.

Is custom firmware available?

Yes. Profile customization, feature work, and hardware modifications are routine MESHLE engagements. We act as a development partner, not a component supplier — German engineering, direct contact, long-term support. flex PRO 3 runs on a Bluetooth Mesh stack MESHLE has shipped since 2013, four years before the SIG standard.

What's the MOQ and lead time?

Standard MOQ for flex PRO 3 is 500 pcs with a typical lead time of around 4 weeks. Custom laser-printed branding on the housing is available at the same MOQ. Talk to engineering for current capacity and your specific BOM.

Does the flex PRO 3 work without WiFi, a hub, or the cloud?

Yes — flex PRO 3 works fully offline with no WiFi, hub, or cloud account. Scenes, schedules, and dimming run locally on MESHLE Bluetooth Mesh, device to device. The optional Gateway M602 only adds Matter, voice assistants, or BMS integration when you choose to connect.

Can it control an RGBW or RGB LED strip over Bluetooth?

Yes. As a Bluetooth LED controller, flex PRO 3 drives RGBW, RGB, RGBCCT, CCT, and single-color LED strip — you select the mode with the Prog button. The same five PWM channels remap to whichever LED strip type you wire in, controlled from the free MESHLE app.

What's the difference between RGBW and RGBCCT mode?

RGBW mode drives RGB plus one dedicated white channel for clean, true whites alongside color. RGBCCT mode adds a second white channel, so you get RGB plus tunable warm-to-cool white in a single run. RGBCCT needs five-channel strip; RGBW needs four.

Can I control the LED controller from a phone app?

Yes. flex PRO 3 is controlled from the free MESHLE app for iOS and Android — color, brightness, scenes, animations, and schedules. The app is fully white-label, so OEMs can ship it under their own brand with no licensing or per-install fee. No account or internet connection is required.
