How do I scan the QR-Code?

There are multiple ways to scan the QR-Code and access the MESHLE Hotel Guest Control App.

Camera App: If you have an iPhone running the latest OS or a relatively new Android phone (i.E. Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S8, S9, S10, and others) you can use your native camera application to scan the QR-Code. Simply open your camera and point towards the QR-Code. Don’t take a picture. Wait a few seconds and a link will pop-up. Tap on the link to open the MESHLE web app.

QR-Code Scanner App: In case your smartphone does not support QR-Code scanning in the camera app, you can use a QR-Code Scanner application. There are many such apps available in the Google Play Store. We recommend the following QR-Code-Scanner Apps for Android:

  1. Google Lens
  2. Kaspersky QR Scanner
  3. QR Droid Private

QR-Code Scanner Web-App: Also a web app can be used to scan the QR code, simply visit the following website in your smartphone web browser:

Internet Browser (Samsung Users): If you use a Samsung smartphone you can also use the Samsung Internet web browser to scan a QR-Code. You can find the QR-Code scanner next to the URL-/Search Bar (see below)

Do I need to be connected to the Hotel WiFi?

To use the MESHLE Hotel Control application you need an internet connection. This does not necessarily have to be the WiFi of the Hotel. You can also use your own 4G network. You can also use a VPN to access the web app.

Is my hotel room safe?

The MESHLE Hotel Control relies on secure Bluetooth-Mesh networks – which means that no devices, except for the MESHLE Terminal, are connected to the internet. A secure authentication system ensures that only the guest who currently has access to the hotel room can control the room.


No QR-Code is shown

If the MESHLE Terminal does not show a QR Code, the terminal has no connection to the internet.

This might be a temporary problem and the terminal will try to reconnect to the internet every few minutes. Make sure the plug of the MESHLE terminal is plugged-in. If you still see no QR-Code after 10 minutes, please inform the hotel reception that the “MESHLE Smart Terminal” does not have internet access at this moment.

MESHLE Web-App is not showing any devices

If you scanned the QR-Code but the MESHLE Hotel Web App is not showing any devices, the most common problem is that the MESHLE Terminal has no power. Please check if the power plug is plugged into a power socket.

I cannot control devices in the MESHLE Web-App / Devices are greyed-out

This is a rare issue in a very small number of hotels. In this case, the MESHLE controllers are used within an existing electric circuit in the hotel room. If a specific switch is turned off, all affected MESHLE devices are also turned off and greyed-out in the web app. Please turn on the switch in your hotel room.
